Hello! We’re back. Kimmikat has been so busy that she hasn’t had time to write this blog for me, so you haven’t heard from us for quite a while. What has Kimmikat been doing to keep here so busy? Well, writing half a novel, Christmas and a full knee replacement operation. But she promises to try and help me more often, now that things are returning to normal.
What have we been doing, I hear you ask?
Well, the same as always, really. Sleeping, eating, watching the birds from the window, and sometimes attempting to catch a mouse ot two. Life is pretty much the same. Kimmikat bought us some new beds, dome shape ones which we really like, but she has only put one up (they are foldable) because they are so big. She thought they would be a lot smaller. She had a phto of three of them all line up with us in them. She said it looked like a cat hotel, but unfortunately she’s lost the photo.
But we have some photos of the birds that we watch from the window. The bird feeder is right outside the window and the birds are not scared of us at all. Here are some pictures of the birds that visit the feeder. Kimmikat has to watch when we are outside though, in case the birds don’t realise we are on their side of the window.
You can see how wet it is. The picture was taken through the window so it’s not the best, and you can see my mum’s paw marks and scuffs from when she climbs the window to get in. Aberkat says she does a dance! But anyway, that’s what we see when we look out of the window. And sometimes this…
Mr White Dove. We also have a Mr Pigeon Dove. Kimmikat thinks they are a pair.
Look how cheeky he is. He know’s I ‘m there! But he doesn’t care. I expect that is because he’s hungry.
So that it what we have been doing. Watching the birds. Also sleeping a lot. This is a picture of me and BearCat having a nap. You notice we have taken Kimmikats Mouse mat in an effort to make her write this blog…it must have worked!
And here we are again, still holding on to the mousemat!
I have lovely paws, don’t you think?
Bye bye for now. Catch you soon, I hope!

Well, I’ve had a nap and now it’s time I introduced you to my best friends.
First there is my mother, Millie. That’s her sitting on the bench in the sun. She is a strikingly beautiful sleek black cat (probably how I got my good looks!) Millie is a very patient and even -tempered cat and quite independent. Our human says she didn’t play much when she was a kitten, but she has come out of her shell lately and is very frisky and playful now. She loves the blue hoopy tunnel thing we have, and she tries to catch the toy that hangs from the top of it. I get bored with that, but it keeps her occupied for ages. Millie is 7 years old and she was a really good mother. I know that, because look how I turned out!
Then there is my friend and sort of uncle, BearCat. He is a posh cat. He is half Burmese, but he doesn’t put on any airs and graces. He is a great cat, and looks after us all. Today, for instance, he sorted out a grey and white tom cat who was going to have a go at me. I don’t think my human was very pleased, as BearCat gets hurt these days as he can’t see very well. His eyes are all cloudy (he has cataracts), and when he gets clawed by the other cat he gets poorly, which upsets my humans. Anyway, he is a soft and gentle cat with all of us, and he always gives outsiders a chance, but I think this tom cat must have got him very cross ‘cos he chases after him the minute he sees him. By the way, BearCat has the most beautiful soft chocolate and cream fur, but he also has white socks and a bib, because he is only half Burmese. He is very handsome; nearly as good looking as me. Here he is.
This writing is wearing me out, so I will tell you about my other special friend tomorrow. Purry Goodnight.

…the most handsome black and white moggy you will ever see! That’s me! I’m Jethro, sometimes known as ‘Jiffers’ and I have started this blog because I thought you might like to learn about all my exploits, and all the adventures I have with my friends. I am a bit slow at writing (my favourite human is checking it for me) so keep coming back and I will tell you all about my friends.
