Poor BearCat

pud-cats-ed.jpg  Last week BearCat was poorly , but he recovered and his wounds were healing. But now he is in the wars again. He was only out for an hour this morning, and he had had a fight. The other cat had reopened his wound behind his ear and he was bleeding all over the place. Kimmikat said he will have to go to the vets, because the other cat’s claws will probably give him an infection. So tomorrow BearCat has to go to the vets. He doesn’t like the vets, but he hasn’t said  anything as I think he was too tired. Good luck for tomorrow BearCat!

We have been staying in a bit more lately as the weather has been colder, and some days it has just rained. Today was good though as the sun shone all day. Sometimes I just like to go and lie under a bush in the garden, with the sun on my back, but slightly shielded from view by the bush. Then I feel safe, and warm and cosy, and I can listen to all the birds. They are so noisy. Cats don’t make that much noise (well only if they are fighting, which isn’t often). Which reminds me…the doves/pigeons have been back, trying to feed from the feeding station. They have to flap their wings furiously to get onto one of the poles, and then they can’t balance. They are very nervous, and keep looking round all the time. I expect they are looking for us!

Well, I had better go. It’s KimmiKat’s bed-time. Catch you again, very soon. Night night,

    AH!

Nice to catch up with Jiffers (Jethro) and hear about the other beasties too. Bert (Burrrrr)was always getting in to little scraps when I knew him. Now he’s a senior in Moggie Kingdom he’ll have to learn to take it easy. I know Jiffers is very fond of Bert and will nurse him back to health again. You know bert is happy when he ‘chirps’. I miss the chirps!

    How are the other Beasts?

My Mog (Anouk) AKA ‘The pussiest’ has just had a little run in with BIG GREY, the neighbourhood bully. She hissed and stood her ground causing him to whimper and trot away with his tail between his legs!

Oh well, I’ve got to go.

    Hi Seasnail.
Yes, things have not changed much. Bear is ok now. Jiffers and I were commenting on the fact that he needs to get on here and update. Maybe later today. But all mogs are fine. Glad that Anouk is standing her ground. Good for her!
    Hugs to everyone, including Anouk,
    Susie.

Yeah, Anouk is going to the vets on Monday. Her last visit made uncomfortable waiting time for all those in the seating area. She not only did a no.1, she managed a no.2, as well as a good old vomit. The smell seem to waft in waves increasing intensity. Eye-watering, (I kid ye not). Being as mature as I am, I giggled, but subsequently took in larger volumes of air than I would have liked. It’s hard not to breathe through your nose whilst laughing!

Wish her luck Jethro. She’s getting a growth in her ear examined. Hopefully it’s not too serious. She’ll be there all day so we’ll be quite worried about her.

Poor Anouk! Do you humans not realise how distressing it is for us cats to go to the vets? I don’t like it one bit. BearCat didn’t go to the vets in the end, as his scratch didn’t get infected. He was very relieved, I can tell you.
So good luck Anouk. We will be thinking of you.
